Are you passionate about
knitting? Join WCKG and join the fun!
Newsflash!!!The Guild will continue! See the latest blog post announcing the 2020 Board. OPEN LETTER TO THE WCKG MEMBERS: As we enjoy the changing colors of autumn and the cooler temperatures, it is time to reflect on those who are most in need. COVID-19 has affected us in ways many of us have never known. Homelessness has increased by leaps and bounds and there are so many more who need our help and support. One of the Guild’s chief principles is to give to those in need. If you’ve been busy knitting and/or crocheting during the quarantine I hope you’ve been putting aside some items to donate. If not, please make an effort in the next few weeks to knit a hat or two, a scarf or anything that can be donated to those who are facing the coming Chicago winter. You will find information in the upcoming Newsletter and on our websites (including Ravelry) about the organizations we are preparing donations. I hope you will join me in creating a bounty of knitted items to be given away. Though we are unable to meet in person, I and the members of the Board send our best regards and hope for your continued health. Stay safe, Anna Roeser WCKG President |

Show & Share is a unique part of every guild meeting. This is an opportunity for members and guests to show what projects they have recently completed and to share with the audience any new techniques they learned during the knitting process, stories they wish to relate, or to answer questions from the group. Download the Show & Share form to fill out in advance! Here is a peek at some recent items shown by meeting attendees. |
