Charlotte RoseWhen did you first start knitting/why?

When I was about 14 years old.

Who taught you to knit?

A lady from Germany who lived in the same building as I did.

How do you knit?

I knit German style.

Have you ever taught someone to knit?

I taught beginners how to knit along with my daughter.

What is your very favorite knitting book and why?

Vogue Magazine for it's good items.

What projects are you working on now?

A sweater, socks, scarf and a shawl.

What is your very favorite yarn?

I love the new "Funny" yarn.

What is the best thing you ever knit?

A skirt with a fair isle pattern.

What is the worst thing you ever knit?

Socks for my hubby when I was 19 years old.

Why do you like to knit?

I find it very relaxing.

When do you knit?

Waiting for doctor appointments, when I am bored, at meetings; any time I can!

What is your favorite part of the knitting process?

Watching the pattern come together.

How long have you been knitting?

Between thirty and forty years.

What do you like about our guild?

I like how the people there are concerned about each other and helpful to new people. I can see the helpfulness to regulars too. They care for each other and enjoy the works of others.

Do you engage in other Fiber Arts?
